Issue
When attempting to access academic terms in Edunation, you receive the error message:
"Term Not Found"
Cause
The issue occurs because no valid or active semester date is set for the current school year. This means that the system cannot recognize a term within the given timeframe.
Solution
To resolve this issue, follow these steps:
Step 1: Verify Active Semesters
- Go to Management > Account Settings > Timetable Settings.
- Click on Years and Semesters.
- Check if a semester exists for the current school year.
Step 2: Activate or Add a Semester
- If no semester exists, click + Create a new semester.
- Enter the Semester Name, Start Date, and End Date.
- Click Save to confirm.
Step 3: Edit an Existing Semester
- Locate the relevant semester and click the pencil icon ✏️ to edit.
- Ensure the Start and End Dates are correct and fall within the school year.
- Click Save to update.
Final Check
After making these changes, try accessing the term again. The issue should now be resolved.
