Issue

When attempting to access academic terms in Edunation, you receive the error message:
"Term Not Found"

Cause

The issue occurs because no valid or active semester date is set for the current school year. This means that the system cannot recognize a term within the given timeframe.

Solution

To resolve this issue, follow these steps:

Step 1: Verify Active Semesters

  1. Go to Management > Account Settings > Timetable Settings.
  2. Click on Years and Semesters.
  3. Check if a semester exists for the current school year.

Step 2: Activate or Add a Semester

  1. If no semester exists, click + Create a new semester.
  2. Enter the Semester Name, Start Date, and End Date.
  3. Click Save to confirm.

Step 3: Edit an Existing Semester

  1. Locate the relevant semester and click the pencil icon ✏️ to edit.
  2. Ensure the Start and End Dates are correct and fall within the school year.
  3. Click Save to update.



Final Check

After making these changes, try accessing the term again. The issue should now be resolved.
