The Exceptional Grades report is a powerful tool in Edunation that helps school leaders and teachers quickly identify students who scored below a certain threshold in any subject.

Below is a step-by-step guide to help you generate this report and monitor student performance efficiently.

Step 1: Access the Report

  1. Log in to your Edunation account.

  2. From the left-side menu, navigate to:

    • Grade ReportsExceptional Grades

Step 2: Filter the Report Criteria

At the top of the page, set your desired filters to target specific students:

  • Year: Choose the academic year and semester (e.g., "2025/2026 – All Semesters").

  • Grade Type: Select the assessment period you want to review (e.g., “Term 1” or “التقييم الأول”).

  • Group: Choose the class/group (e.g., “Grade 6-A” or “5G”).

  • Subject: You may leave it as “All” to include every subject, or filter by a specific one.

  • Grade: Select the condition “Smaller or equal” and enter the grade threshold (e.g., 50.00) to identify failing or borderline students.

Tip: A threshold of 50 is commonly used to identify students at risk of failing.

Step 3: Generate the Report

Click the Produce report button.

The table below will display a list of students who meet the filter criteria, including:

  • Student's Name

  • ID Number

  • Class

  • Subject

  • Grade Type

  • Grade's Name

  • Final Grade

You will instantly see which students have grades that fall at or below your chosen threshold.

Sample Result

As shown in the screenshots:

  • A student with a score of 46 in Science and 40 in Math will appear in the list when the filter is set to “≤ 50”.

  • Another student with a 35 in English will also be listed under the same criteria.

This makes it easier for school staff to:

  • Notify parents

  • Schedule intervention meetings

  • Provide additional support
