How to Create Report Cards in EduNation
Follow these simplified steps to create report cards in EduNation.
Step 1: Start a New Report
- Go to Reports & Analytics on the left sidebar.
- Select Report Cards.
- Click on the + sign to create a new report.
Step 2: Fill in the Report Details
- Title: Enter a report name (e.g., "Academic Performance Report - Semester 1").
- Class: Select the class or grade level.
- Year: Confirm the academic year.
- Semester: Choose the relevant term.
- Report Template: Select the format (e.g., "First Semester").
- Cover: Choose a cover page or select "Without".
- Average Type: Choose how averages will be calculated.
Step 3: Set Report Status
- Private: Only specific users can view it.
- Permission Owners: Assigned users with permission can view it.
- Published: Available to all intended recipients.
Step 4: Select Additional Options (Optional)
- Check options for discipline with average, importing absence/lateness, or including transferred students' grades.
Step 5: Proceed to Grade Group Selection
- Click Next to move to the grade group selection.
Step 6: Select Grade Groups
- In the All Grade Groups tab, check the box next to each grade group to include.
- Filter (optional) to narrow down grade groups.
- Review your selection in the Selected Grade Groups tab.
- Click Save to finalize.
Step 7: Generate the Report to View the Result
- In the Report Cards section, find the report you created.
- Click on the arrow (actions menu) next to the report title.
- Select Generate from the menu to initiate the report generation process.
- Wait for the system to process the report. Once complete, you’ll be able to preview and review the final output.
Warning: After making any changes or updating grades, you must regenerate the report to display the latest results. Failing to do so will show outdated information.
