This guide explains how school administrators can control the visibility of newly created content in Edunation by adjusting the default publishing status. Whether you want content to be instantly visible or reviewed first, this setting ensures alignment with your school's workflow.
Instructions to Set the Default Publishing Status:
Step 1: Access the School Settings Page
Log in to your Edunation account with administrative privileges.
From the left-hand panel, go to Account Settings > School Settings.
Once inside, click on the General Settings tab at the top of the screen.
Tip: You need to have permission to edit institution-level settings.
Step 2: Choose the Desired Default Publishing Status
Scroll down to the section labeled Default Publishing Status.
Choose between:
Published – All new content (lessons, announcements, etc.) will be automatically visible to users.
Permission Owners – Content will remain private to the school till the owner or admin manually publishes it.
Step 3: Save the Changes
Once you’ve updated the required fields:
Scroll to the bottom of the General Settings page.
Click the blue Save general settings button.
