How to Manage the Timetable on Edunation as a Teacher

Edunation provides an intuitive interface for teachers to effectively manage their timetables. This guide walks you through viewing, editing, and canceling lessons in the timetable, ensuring seamless classroom management.


Instructions to Manage the Timetable

Step 1: View the Weekly Timetable

Teachers can easily access their schedules and view important details.

  1. Log in to your Edunation teacher account.
  2. Navigate to the Manage Timetable section from the left-hand menu from MY BACKPACK
  3. Use the arrows at the top of the page to browse the weekly schedule for past or upcoming weeks.
  4. Identify special indicators:
    • Clock symbol: Indicates a test for the course.
    • Green clip symbol: Indicates homework for the course.
    • Orange clip symbol: Indicates an exam for the course.
  5. Days off (e.g., holidays) are highlighted in red within the schedule.

Tip: You can click on a specific class or lesson to see more details, such as student names, attendance, and comments.

Step 2: Cancel Yearly Lessons

Teachers can cancel lessons for specific periods using the following steps:

  1. Select Cancel Yearly Lessons from the timetable management page.
  2. In the pop-up window:
    • Choose the period you want to cancel (e.g., "Previous Month" or "First Semester").
    • Select the reason for the cancellation from the dropdown menu.
  3. Click Save to confirm the changes.


Note: Double-check the selected period and reason before finalizing the cancellation.



Step 3: Edit or Monitor Lesson Details

You can view and modify lesson details for better tracking:

  1. Click on any lesson within the timetable.
  2. A detailed window will display the following:
    • List of enrolled students.
    • Attendance information (present, absent, delayed, or absent with an excuse).
    • A section to add comments for each student.
  3. After making updates, click Save or Save All Days to apply the changes.


Reminder: Ensure attendance is accurate and updated daily to maintain proper records.
