Steps to Add Sub-groups (Groupings) in Edunation

  1. Navigate to Groups: 

    • Go to Management > Groups and select Add New Child Group.
  2. Fill Required Fields:


    • Group Name: Enter the group name.
    • Year: Select the academic year.
    • Group Type: Choose Grouping.
    • Parent Group: Select the parent group (mandatory). The main class name.

  3. Save the Group:
    • Click Save to finalize or Save & Add New to create another group.







Adding Students to the Subgroup

  1. Select Students:

    • Within the parent group, view the list of members.
    • Use filters (e.g., by grade, gender, etc.) to narrow the selection.
  2. Add to Subgroup:

    • Highlight the desired students by selecting their checkboxes.
    • Click the Add to Group button and choose the created subgroup.
